Chillcast #216: Soul of a Machine

As I was casting around for show subtitles this week, I tried to mentally sum up the musical theme; the music is partly mechanistic but also quite soulful in spots, and then it hit me: the Filterwolf song title was perfection! In addition to describing the music mix, it has the added bonus of being an allusion to Sasha Vujacic, who is slated to return to play with the Lakers for their first game of the Western Conference Finals this weekend. GO MACHINE! GO LAKERS! OK, Vujachick fangirlism aside, this is an interesting episode filled with a kind of cosmic, other-worldly beauty.
