My new show is bi-something…

I’m sitting here trying to figure out whether to announce my new podcast, Lovely Ladies, as “biweekly” or “bimonthly” to indicate that it will happen every other week. Looking up both words on the Apple dashboard dictionary is no help at all! Apparently, both words are ambiguous. Biweekly can mean either every other week or twice a week, and bimonthly can mean twice a month or every two months. Drats! Perhaps I should call it “fortnightly”?

In any case, please download my promo to play on your podcast :

Can’t stop making these dang things… More of my latest doings, including the newest Lovespirals recording, my new celebrity yard sale dress, and details of my trip to the Queen Mary. Be forewarned that I used a different format for the show this week. I think I’ll go back to the old one next time. OH RATS – I didn’t update the episode number in the art. Sigh… Nevertheless, please go Digg my podcasts now!

Back on SecondLife

Over the past week or so I’ve logged into SecondLife a few times, hoping to catch C.C. Chapman online and wondering who else I used to know in-game might still be playing. I haven’t run into anyone, aside from die-hard Eric Rice. But it was really cool to run into “Spin” because he’s encouraging me to get Lovespirals to play a show this year, which is the main reason I signed up for SL in the first place. So, I’ve started in earnest to try and get both of our avatars ready for prime time, which is no small feat! I don’t want to spend a ton of Lindens on skins, clothes, and accessories, yet I don’t want to come off as a complete noob, either. So I’m just doing the best I can with the basic tools the game provides, the hundreds of freebies readily available, and a few affordable purchases, like decent hair. The goal is to look enough like ourselves that folks watching us play will recognize our avatars. I feel like I’m getting close.

Chillin’ with Anji Bee #16

Recorded this last night — before today’s rain… [and snow!] This episode includes exciting Lovespirals news, more on my upcoming Paul & Price feature, a continuation of one of the subjects from last week’s ShowGirls (no offense to older men intended, I think I was mostly influenced by the invective of Tom Leykis I’d heard on the radio earlier in the day…), and a bit about CSB, the 5 Things Meme, RumorGirls, and Second Life.

My first show of the new year gives you a wrap up of my holiday celebrations and recent podcasting, blogging, and band activities, and laments the downside of podcasting over the holiday season. BTW, here’s my iLike Picks and the i am nerd podcast site… [ed. just noticed my intro slip – doh!]
