This week I welcome to the show for the first time Australian artist, LDRU. I first heard of him through a remix of this song by fellow Aussie, Ta-ku. We’ll be checking out the trapidelic video created by Ego for the original mix of LDRU’s catchy song, “The Tropics.” ‘The Tropics’ single is out now on Future Classic. Today’s musical guests are Giraffage & XXYYXX with their beautiful 2012 collaboration, “Even Though.” This psychedelic video was directed, shot and edited by Brendan Canty of Feel Good Lost, who are offering it as a free download on Vimeo. “Even Though” hails from a 5-song single released digitally last year by Kitsune. It features remixes by Teen Daze, Slow Magic, REID and The One AM Radio. The original mix is also featured on the Kitsuné AMERICA compilation, available on iTunes. The full “Even Though” single is available thru the Kitsune webstore or on iTunes Europe, Australia or US stores.
