Anji Bee wins Podcast Award with Showgirls

Exciting news! ShowGirls, the conversational group podcast featuring me, the RumorGirls, Soccergirl, Cali Lewis, Share of Rock n Roll TV, and the PodChick, just won a People’s Choice Podcast Award! Interestingly, the podcast was inspired by the 7 female podcasters meeting at last year’s New Media Expo (previously called Portable Media Expo) where the awards ceremony take place. It will be a nice reunion for us this year as we get to accept our own award! Thanks to everyone who voted for us.

Getting harder and harder to sit at the desk all day… The weather is heating up, the sky is bright, and summer is certainly here. Look forward to a special 1 hr DJ mixed set for Independence Day – or should I say IndepenDANCE day? It’s all deep house for your party listening pleasure. Perhaps later I’ll expand it to more than that… Just thought I’d ask your opinion on whether or not you think I should go twice-weekly with The Chillcast. I appreciate your input!

Back to the old iPod format this week. I dunno if folks really care about the bigger size or not, and it just takes longer for me to bounce down and upload that dang large video, so screw it! Feel free to reply if you like the larger size and I will consider it. Another update on the bungalow renovation, the new Lovespirals CD, other recent goings-on, and some personal questions. OH!
