I’m very excited to see Jose Gonzalez tonight at the OC Performing Arts Center. It will be my second time this year. I really love his current album and the minimal backing band he put together really suits the music well. I was quite sick the first time I saw him play and I can’t tell you how much he raised my spirits. The man was like a Bodhisatva resting on a lotus blossom pouring forth blessings and cautionary tales at The Wiltern show. Perhaps it was my frame of mind? I shall see tonight!
