Haven’t done an episode of The Chillcast since September, but I wanted to share my fave tracks of the year, so here’s my playlist in Spotify and Apple. For my big return to music podcasting, I put together an hour long spotlight on my recent obsession: K-Pop! I think long time listeners will be pleasantly surprised to find how compatible the genre really is with my show. I’ve discovered so many soulful and funky songs just perusing the most recent releases in the genre, and since I’ve gotten hooked on it, I thought I’d try to turn you onto some of these artists, as well. Here we go again! The Chillcast is back for 2019, keeping it chill, as always. Today’s mix of laid back beats and vibes hails from SoundCloud, Co-Sign, and FreegalMusic, as well as from me and my friends. There’s some remixes and edits, as well, as originals in this playlist, some with vocals and some without. Honestly, I don’t know what to say other than that this is a pretty classic set for me. After a long hiatus I’m back with a very special 90 min mix done old school with actual radio voiceovers every few tracks. I know some of you will be thrilled to hear the return of “the sexiest voice in podcasting” and others of you will complain that I “ruined” a perfectly good mixtape. I know I can’t please everyone. Today’s mix was begun a few months back, so there’s some slightly older 2018 tracks plus several brand new singles I added in this week to keep it fresh. It runs the gamut between underground talent and megastars. I don’t really care, as long as it’s got that certain sexy chill thing I like. Lots of female vocals this time out, including ya girl, coz I got a new Lovespirals album out right now. Hey, have a great holiday season. I had so much fun putting this set together today. Found some great new stuff on Soundcloud to fill in around a few tracks I had from elsewhere and I really love the more lo-fi direction it went in. There’s a charming nostalgic feel to a number of these tracks, which helps balance out the macho bravado of some cuts, and the futuristic edge of others. I honestly feel like this is one of the most old-school Chillcast mixes I’ve assembled in awhile. I hope you feel it, too! XO
It’s been too long, Chillcast Fam! Finally found the time and inspo to download some new tracks for ya’ll. I’ve got a sweet mix of bootleg remixes and originals including some big name and big hits, as well as as some newer talents on the comeup. As always, it starts moody and slow then builds up steam, rolling in various genres. Enjoy the summery late night vibes. <3

A week late, but worth the wait! This whole First Friday thing doesn’t seem to be sticking at all. Oh well. Anyway, anytime is a good time to chill the f out with some wavy new music! I can’t lie, I’ve been trippin lately, so it was good therapy diving into SoundCloud for some bootlegs, covers, and originals. Only a week late for First Friday LOL. Can I blame Mercury Retrograde? It’s finally going direct this weekend. I can def blame Chase Atlantic for making me stan out last Friday. Anyway, I think this chill mix is worth the wait. If you are out partying at Coachella rn, you can enjoy this mix on your trip back home to ease into your weekday reality. Or if you’re home, like me, you can just stream it for some chill weekend vibes. My 2018 Valentine’s Day mix explores many sides of love, dark and light, new and old, shared and unrequited. As always, my playlist flows from super chilled hip hop beats and rnb singers towards more upbeat electronica, but then I bring it back down a bit at the end. I’m never sure what genres to tag my sets, as there’s elements of so many in the songs I choose. I’m always going for vibe, and today’s vibe is def sexy. There’s a number of tracks from 2018 featured, with more recent 2017 tracks to fill in, and one classic cover tune from 2015 for fun.

Couldn’t resist putting together a set of my favorite songs from the 2017 season of The Chillcast! I almost uploaded it yesterday, but I figured you all were busy celebrating New Year’s Eve and would appreciate the show more today. Hopefully this mix will help get your New Year started off right. This episode goes out to my loyal listeners who reached out to let me know they’d miss the show if I gave it up in 2018. The thing is, I’m so addicted to music, I really don’t think I could quit forever anyway.
