Matt Rowe interviews Anji Bee about her label, Chillcuts Digital, her podcast, The Chillcast, and her new '5 Years of Chillin' compilation for the MusicTap site
I continue to mix it up here on The Chillcast with a bit of electronica, indie rock, dub, and soul – and all of the bands are new to the show, too, which is kinda cool. No theme this week, just some really tasty tracks. This is going up early so I’m free to party on Superbowl Sunday, hee hee hee!

Anji, ever since you went onto Sirius, I feel Chillcast has been revitalised. The shorter time format seems to make it more efficient. I absolutely love it!
This episode is quite possibly one of the best you’ve ever done. I like the fact that you mixed it up a bit. Dub makes an appearance. God I love dub!
i’m still sitting here flabbergasted trying to figure out when incognito became podsafe. give me a minute…
just found out last month that ropeadope’s going 100% digital. apparently their mp3 sales were blowing their CD sales outta the water, so it makes sense. as good as the frequency is, the track available from aunt jessica is absolutely gorgeous. i’ve been singing the chorus for days now…
well, to tell the truth, incognito’s peeps sent me a cd special. as long as a band sends me the music to play, i’m good. i wouldn’t advise you cutting the track out of my show to play it on yours, though.
i’ve been thinking ’bout doing a full ropeadope special, the new digital label is so cool.
