Destiny was released as a single on June 8, 2016.

NOTE: The text document for these lyrics was created in August 2005, but I can’t find any mention of them in my diary, and I don’t remember anything about writing them. That was a really busy time for me, as I’d just gotten married, overseen renovations on my house, and was releasing my second album with Lovespirals – this time on our own label, which I’d just started that year. I was so busy with so many things, it’s no wonder I forgot writing this song! As for this recording, Gerry and I began work in September 2014. He sent me an instrumental demo, simply titled “Pop2Mixdown,” and the very next day I sent him back my first vocal demo, with the note, “oh yeah i like this one. just whipped up a quick demo.” Pleased, Gerry replied, “I love it. This is one of those demos that is pretty much finished. I listened to it again first thing this morning. All I can say is wow.” I went ahead and bounced my vocal acapellas down and sent them over immediately, to which he responded,  “Great melody. Great Lyrics, Soulful singing. Perfect.”
