Margaritari (Love Me Leave Me – Wedding Edit) Out Now

The Morphism has released a very special remix of “Love Me Leave Me” on Bandcamp. This stripped down version was created as the First Dance song for his own wedding. Anton named the special edit “Maragaritari (Love Me Leave Me – Wedding Edit)” after his new wife, Margaritari. Congratulations to the beautiful couple! I’m honored to have been a part of your celebrations.

New Keurich Remix of “Goodbye” Out Now!

A cool remix of my classic song “Goodbye” has been released on the new ‘Start Again… Remix Album‘ by The Morphism. This mix by Keurich is definitely tougher sounding than the original 2000 recording created by Moondawg and I for our Dreamzone 51 project, or the better known version created with Rom Di Prisco for Bitstream Dream in 2001. Even though I had rerecorded my vocals for Bitstream Dream, The Morphism version utilized even newer recordings — with an added chorus refrain, bridge, and outro –which is what’s sampled for this remix. Hard to believe sometimes how long I have been doing music for. It’s nice to know that some folks out there still enjoy my early work! Thanks to both producers for making this happen.

“Goodbye (Keurich Remix” by The Morphism and Anji Bee is also available on Apple Music.

Anji Bee On ‘Living Generation’ LP by THE MORPHISM

The Morphism just released a new album dedicated to Canadian composer Saki Kaskamanidis (aka Captain Ginger) who sadly passed away in late 2016. Living Generation is an old-school electronics and rock album that takes one back to the time of the original Sony PlayStation and classic Need For Speed games. Anton Gagarin of The Morphism founded the “Romulus Club” Internet community in 2010 to promote and work of Rom Di Prisco and Bitstream Dream, whom Saki and Anji were both a part of. He’s done an excellent job of keeping the old content alive, as well as continuing the collaborative project’s legacy with new projects like this. The 15 track album includes his versions of Anji Bee’s classic Bitstream Dream songs “Love Me Leave Me” and “Good Bye.” While the former had previously been released, the latter is an exclusive to this LP and features totally new vocal recordings with additional lyrics. You can read the more about history of this song on the “Good Bye” lyrics page.

Living Generation by The Morphism is also on Apple Music.

Video for “Love Me Leave Me (Morphism Remix)” Out

Anton Gagarin, the creator of the VK-based  “Romulus Club” – a fan club for Rom Di Prisco and Saki Kaskas – recently created a music video for his remix of Anji Bee’s 2013 recording of “Love Me Leave Me.” This long time fan of Bitstream Dream considers his punchy glitch-hop track to be an homage to the 2004 Bitstream Dream version of “Love Me Leave Me.” The Morphism had previously collaborated with Bee on the original track, “Cetus Aero,” for his 2013 release, ‘Madness Shift (EP).’ You can pick up “Love Me Leave Me (The Morphism Remix)” on Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon Mp3, Google Play and other digital stores.

Anji feat. on The Morphism ‘Madness SHift’ EP

Out now on Bandcamp is the debut release by The Morphism, called ‘Madness Shift E.P.’ Anji Bee contributed lyrics and vocals to the b-side cut, “Cetus Aero.” This track hearkens back to Anji’s work with Rom diPrisco, with an old school ‘Need For Speed‘ feel.  Anton of The Morphism is a long time fan of Rom’s game soundtrack work, as well as his musical project Bitstream Dream, which is how this collaboration was born. The Morphism recently remixed the new Anji Bee recording of the classic Bitstream Dream track, “Love Me Leave Me,” as part of the promotion for the upcoming album of the same name.

“Love Me Leave Me” Lyrics

“Love Me Leave Me”  Love Me Leave Me Remixes (2013), Love Me Leave Me LP (2013)

Love me, leave me

Devour me, deceive me
Is that the way that this is going to be
Between you and me

You say you want me, I’m sure that’s true
But how long will it be until you’re through
There’s something I don’t trust in your eyes
You speak to me with sugar coated lies

Love me, leave me
Devour me, deceive me
I know you’ll leave me alone
Love me, leave me
Devour me, deceive me
I know you’ll leave me alone

Ooh ooh ooh…

(repeat all)

— by Anji Bee (BMI)

Note: These lyrics were originally written in mid-2003 for a collaboration with a band called Realm that never panned out. The vocal files from that demo recording session were sent over to Rom di Prisco, who created a version of this song for the 2004 Bitstream Dream album, ‘Integration,’ which is no longer available. A brand new version was produced in 2013 by Anji and Ryan Lum (of Lovespirals) for my debut solo album released in late 2013. An 11 song remix single was also released in 2013, including the 2004 mix by Bitstream Dream plus all new mixes created from the new recording.
