Out now on YouTube is the official music video for the new single by Lovespirals, “The Call.” This dreamy video was filmed entirely in and around the band’s hometown of Long Beach, CA, shot and edited by Anji with some post production by Ryan. So many great spots to see sunsets from!
Anji dropped a fun new Disneyland vlog on the Happy Healthy Vegan show! This is an edited version of the duo’s first-ever Happy Fam members exclusive video released a week ago. You still get a great look at the Main Street Electrical Parade going down Main Street and in front It’s A Small World as well as a peek at the We Don’t Talk About Bruno light show but there’s even more in the members-only vlog. Both versions feature the couple’s current favorite vegan meal in Disneyland and their all-time fave vegan friendly dessert!
Ryan and I just posted the official music video for “Down Low” from our 3-song ‘Smile – Single’ to YouTube. This midnight vibes video highlights our own downtown Long Beach for a moody change of pace. This is the first time Lovespirals have created a music video for every song on a release, and we’re pretty excited about it.

Over the past 2-3 years I’ve been filming various scenes I thought would work well with the lyrical concept and I finally took the time to edit them together for this fun must video that contrasts black and white and super colorful scenes. The parasol scenes were shot on Laguna Beach during the performance of ‘The Shoreline Project’ by artist Elizabeth Turk. We had randomly been on site just as 1000 people converged for this performance piece, and it was quite surreal! The carousel and teacups ride scenes were both shot at Disneyland, and the stupa scene was shot at Maui Dharma Center in Paia.

Extremely chill vibes with super smooth production, “Why Not Today?” pulls from from Lovespirals’ r&b/soul side with a little jazz and blues twist. Melancholic, dreamy, and filled with soft yearning for a better time and place, the video is a lovely reminder of the healing power of nature, even in this time of human disconnection and unease. I created the music video, as well as wrote the lyrics, performed the vocals, and aided in the songwriting and production.
The Chillin’ with Lovespirals band podcast makes another return! We have so much news to share this episode, including our new album charting pretty heavily, which is super fun. We get into some detail and background on our song, “Are You Lonely,” which has been picking up a little steam online, Ryan gets into the inspiration for the overall sound of ‘Life Goes On,’ Anji digs up some unreleased video, and more news and conversation. We really hope you dig hearing/watching us talk about music because we have lots more stories to share about the making of the album and what inspires us to create!

Retro beat maestro, The Grooveblaster, and soulful songstress, Anji Bee, have created a number of laid back collaborations over the past decade, but “Destiny” is perhaps their best yet.
