The first show of 2011 takes a look back at some of my personal favorite tunes from 2010. Unlike my “Top 20 Podsafe Songs Of…” shows of years past, this selection is not confined to only podsafe music. Because I now play more music received directly from promotional companies and bands than ever before, I just couldn’t restrict myself that much. I hope you’ll enjoy this 90 minute mix of chillout, lounge, electropop, downtempo, deep house,  and minimal tech house as much as I do! Chillcast Video #50: Flight Facilities

The first musical guest on Chillcast Video for 2011 is the Australian production duo, Flight Facilities. One of the more intriguing projects of 2010 was certainly “Crave You” featuring Giselle Roselli, and the official video for the original mix is sure to add to the song’s mystique. This video was produced by Moop Jaw, with direction by Rhett Wade-Ferrell and art direction by Kate Dougherty, and was conceived by Warran Wright. Check out “Crave You (Bxcentric Mix)” on Chillcast #212 and my personal fave, “Crave You (Version 2)” on Chillcast #211.

Well its the dreaded Tax Day here in the good ole USA as I record the show and type up the shownotes for ya. Like many of my fellow Americans, I got rocked by Uncle Sam. My only consolation now is great new music and awesome free downloads, and luckily I’ve got both of those in spades! I really love the mix of moods and musical styles on this week’s episode! There’s a little bit of everything in this one hour set, but it all flows so sweetly from song to song.
