This full hour episode is dedicated to our beloved L.A. Lakers who just won their first NBA Championship in 7 years. Congratulations also to team captain, Kobe Bryant, for additionally winning the Finals MVP award.  As I type up shownotes, I’m sitting here drinking a cuppa joe out of my new Sasha Vujacic mug given to me by one of my fellow Vujachicks at a fun viewing party for game 4. OK, I swear, no more Lakers posts or tweets for awhile. I’ll be switching to Wimbledon and Roger Federer any day now. LOL!

haha you are right, jason, i am surprised.

well, i was gonna do a 45 minute show today but then a few tracks came in the mail and i just couldn’t cut anything, so it’s gonna be an hour again. hope you can handle it!

and as for fave, glad to hear the good news and i’m looking forward to getting caught back up with that new episode. probably at the gym tomorrow night. 😀

Thanks for playing Machine Against the Raj. We’re at a festival in Morocco, soaking up the sounds of the Gnawa, the descendants of the black slaves in Morocco. Hopefully we’ll get some cool samples to use in future tunes and make some good musical contacts too. We might do some DJ sets while we’re here.

great to hear some new material from the flavor foundation. gotta check out their latest in the podsafe music ne…oops, i mean mevio’s music alley (lol).

saw your comments on my blog this morning. thanks for the encouragement and the feedback – greatly appreciated.

so as it turns out…it was a blown motherboard. powerless to stop it. but camp lo-fi should be up and running sooner rather than later and all should be recovered as well, so that’s even better news.

and yes please, one hour shows! it just feels right…
