A very nice review of The Chillcast just went up on the Calmscape site today, in the article entitled “Portable Chill” contributed by Plattitude:
The Chillcast is an all-podsafe show with a decidedly hip and sunny attitude. Host Anji Bee (who is one half of the chillout band Lovespirals) eases the listener into the music with her sexy, cool voice, and injects each episode with charisma and ambition. With a focus on emerging artists, The Chillcast spins downtempo electronica, nu-jazz, and chilled R&B, soul and worldbeat. Recent shows have featured artists such as Astrid Suryanto, Sunburn in Cypress, Bitter::Sweet, Chill Factor 5, Quinn and Seiji Toda.
Sorry this went up a little late…. Anyway, this episode has got an interesting mix of tracks including several from bands that are new to the PodSafe Music Network, one that’s a brand new band altogether, and all of which are new to The Chillcast.
