Chillin’ with Anji Bee #24

Ooh, Anji in the daylight! Topics include superfans, to wishlist or not, taxes suck, my couch is thrashed, Comp USA is going down, Jamo rocks, decaying antique shoes smell bad, “Pop Goes My Heart” made Music and Lyrics worth seeing, what am I doing and why do you watch this, interviewing Causeway and Karmacoda — and who knows what else?

oh i’ve got a house. tim doesn’t have to worry about that. i am guilty of not listening to all of the cds yet… i got wrapped up listening to the 4 karmacoda cds and the causeway cd for my interviews. i just grabbed your cds to rip right now! (if it ain’t in my itunes library, i don’t listen to it…) 🙂

What’s happenin’ Anji? I get down with this because everyone wants to live vicariously through someone else, right?!?

In the end, you’re hoping to find something that you can relate to through words of others. Also, the production is really well done, and I can definitely appreciate that, given my own podcasting/vlogging experiences!

Can’t wait for more. Be easy, Ms. Lady — be sure to come through sometime over at DYKC and drop a hello.

I watch every episode because you let me. I guess that makes you an enabler. Also, if you made a wish list and put a house on it, Tim would get it for you. I will have more cd’s for you soon. Have you listened to the others yet?

heh heh heh! that video is so totally true to the early 80’s videos of my childhood that it’s scary.

causeway have a cute little video up on youtube, too, actually!

Why do I watch? I don’t watch every episode, but I do try and catch a couple each month. I watch because it gives great insight into what you are thinking, and what plans you have for podcasts, vidcasts, the band etc. It’s just another avenue to finding out new things about the music you make, and others who make similar music. I am previewing Casueway on yahoo Music Unlimited right now, had not heard of them previously. The ‘quirkiness” of the show also makes me smile…which is a good thing anytime.

P.S. I have NOT seen the movie, but that Pop Goes my Heart video is SCARY!!
