Chillcast Levinhurst Feature & Contest

Laurence Tolhurst and his wife, Cindy Levinson, are my special guests on this one-hour feature about their band, Levinhurst. We preview tracks from all 3 of their releases as Lol shares insight from his musical history that began in the 70’s as a founding member of The Cure. I have to say, this has been the most exciting interview I’ve done yet, since I’ve been a fan of Lol’s music since 1983… I really love the new album, House by the Sea, and am thrilled to turn you Chillcast listeners on to it! Be sure to enter the contest to win a copy!!!

One of the reasons I love podcasts is that I can listen to them at my convenience.

Pretty much every job I’ve ever had I could listen to music to music either on my computer or on my headphones. Unfortunately, that doesn’t fly at the place I currently work at. I say unfortunately because I think I must be subscribed to at least to 50 podcasts. On any given day I can keep up with my onslaught of media with commute time and six to seven hours of listening at work. Subtract listening to podcasts at work and I very quickly accumulated a huge backlog of podcasts to listen to.

Ah, but it’s a podcast! I can listen whenever I want! So a few nights back I got in bed and snuggled up with my iPod and listened to the Levinhurst.

Great stuff, Anji! One of your best yet. Thanks you so much for turning me on to Levinhurst!

Ciao,
Bazooka Joe

Anji, thanks so much for the feature; loved it!

I went out and bought both of Levinhurst’ albums on iTunes after hearing this.

Just a quick note in response to your question about interviews in your latest podcast – I liked this one, but the kind of asynchronous conversation I find didn’t flow as well as with Matthew Ebel. Don’t get me wrong, I loved both, but the conversation between you and Ebel was a lot more fun to listen to.

Keep up the great work. I love your stuff!

You should make an Anji dashboard widget, so we can get all the Anji-ness in one place, anytime. 🙂
