Band founder, Devin Fleenor, stars in this creative video for the song “I Fell Through,” from their debut indie album, Never Trust the Chinese. Will just sent me a copy of his brand new Dive Index CD, Collisions: the Mid/Air Remixes, which is due out officially on Sept 26th. On this week’s Chillcast #127, I played a remix of “Water In Our Hands” featuring the lovely Natalie Walker on vocals. Then I discovered that this CD also contains 2 videos, one of which is for the original version of “Water in our Hands.” The video and animation are by Divya Srinivasan, an amazing Austin artist who worked on one of my all time favorite movies, Waking Life by Richard Linklater, so I had to share this video with you! The first artist ever to grace the vidcast returns for their 3rd time with their 3rd video from their 3rd studio album – how do you like that? 3-3-3 must mean something in numerology! As promised, here is the WORLD PREMIER of the brand new video by the one and only Karmacoda from the capital of creativity, San Francisco. “Make Like Mine” hails from the band’s 2007 album, Illuminate, and is one of my personal faves. This breathtaking video was created by Luis Otavio Feldens, who also did their previous video for “Skylines.” I am so proud to bring this video to you, I am bursting!

Plastic Operator return to the Chillcast Video Edition with one of the catchiest songs EVER, “Folder” (no, not as in “scruncher or folder“), from their 2007 album, Different Places and the Folder EP. This comes from a 45 minute video set that he uses in live performances. I’m really excited about a collaborative Creative Commons project that MoShang invited me to join called the CC Asia Band (or CABACA) which is due out soon.
