Impulsively made a new episode last night after recording a shoutout for SoccerGirl’s 200th episode. A quick update on the new Lovespirals album and my podcast studio, plus lingerie chat, can glasses be sexy?, and real life Anji vs Second Life Anji. The theme music this week and last week, btw, is the “Hidden Desires” theme Ryan and I made last year for the proposed soap opera podcast with Adam Curry that seems to have slipped through the cracks. š Figured I may as well make use of the song!

Checked out CocaCola’s Virtual Thirst Pavilion at the Crayonville Amphitheatre in Second Life. I love the vintage truck display. Heard Matthew Ebel‘s classic podsafe track, “Drive Away,” while sitting inside the truck – good call! Britney, Lynette, and CC himself all showed up while I was there, which was cool. Got some pix and threw them up on Flickr. CC got some nice shots, as well. I asked him if there will be a party in the pavilion. With all the bubbly Coke cans, it would be quite festive!
A little birdy told me PodShow may be experiencing some downtime next week, and I wanted to make sure you all heard this Exceptional Records spotlight, so I put it up a bit early. All of the artists this episode are playing the Exceptional Night Out gig in London Tuesday the 18th. Wish I could be thereā¦ All these tunes were found on the IODA Promonet site. Last week my show didn’t upload and I gave up on it. This week I’m doing a shorter one just to test out what the heck is going on. But it still has content… I briefly talk about my discomfort with getting personal on ShowGirls, going to the Diggnation taping, and working on Lovespirals‘ new CD, amongst other things. The Diggnation taping at Cinespace yesterday was pretty fun. Got there promptly at 6 but of course there was already a line around the building. This was the first live taping in the LA area so people came from all over. I was chatting with a gal from the female Diggnation fans group when I noticed Kevin crossing the street and realized what a fan girl I was! By the time Ryan and I got upstairs the seats were all taken, but the show was so funny that I didn’t really notice standing up for an hour. The dudes are total rockstars now, no doubt. Speaking of which, the French Maid TV chicks were there, doing their shtick and bringing Kevin beer every few minutes. He’s so cute when he gets wasted…
I’m gonna try to attend the Diggnation live taping at Cinespace tomorrow evening. Hopefully it won’t be a complete mob scene and I can actually get in. Going out to LA is always a hassle but I love Diggnation and haven’t been to any of their events yet. Plus I haven’t seen that cutie Kevin since he was with G4 and that’s far too long in my book. Ryan dared me to run up and kiss Kevin while they’re filming!
