This week I welcome to the show for the first time Australian artist, LDRU. I first heard of him through a remix of this song by fellow Aussie, Ta-ku. We’ll be checking out the trapidelic video created by Ego for the original mix of LDRU’s catchy song, “The Tropics.” ‘The Tropics’  single is out now on Future Classic. The Ta-ku remix is free to download on SoundCloud. This music video is also free to download from Vimeo. Yay for free downloads!

I welcome to the show for the first time, Ontario band, Memoryhouse, with their lovely shoegazery tune, “Lately (Deuxième).” This beautiful video was Directed by Rineer Shah and Josh Lowman, aka Church & Steak, who offer this as a free download on their Vimeo account. The song itself is a free download on Pitchfork, and it hails from their debut EP The Years, released in 2010. There’s also a free download on Pitchfork of an acoustic version called, “Lately (Troisieme).”

This week I present up and coming R&B artist, Tinashe. This young Los Angeles singer/songwriter/dancer is set to release her debut album on RCA this year, but she’s already released 2 amazing free albums independently as “mixtapes.” From her 2012 mixtape, Reverie, this is the sexy video for “Ecstasy.” This song was produced by K-BeatZ, while the video was directed by Smallz and Raskind. Returning to the show today is San Francisco artist, Artemis. She just released an animated video for the dreamy Mijo remix of “Easy.” This lovely video was created by Sara Abtahi, an Iranian artist currently living in Germany. Anji Bee on New 7 Day Visa Album

The brand new 7 Day Visa album, Buenos Aires, includes one track featuring Anji Bee. “Que Quiero” is a lovely reworking of a Creative Commons collaboration with Moosefrog from 2007, originally titled “En la Oscuridad.” Jamahl Richardson of 7 Day Visa (and The Shanghai Restoration Project live band) created a completely new arrangement of Bee’s Spanish language lyrics set to his original music, which was inspired by his recent trip to the cosmopolitan capitol of Argentina. Wistful, dreamy, and sensual, this chillout tune is sure to set your mind wandering with memories of warm, lazy days filled with the vibrancy of Summer. Other special guests on this album include German Alejandro Pla, Joseph Allan Johnson, Matthew Szemela, and Lucas Cantor. You can check out “Mano y Mano (ft.
