Karmacoda ‘Love & Fate’ Album Features Anji Bee

Bay Area band Karamacoda — long time friends of The Chillcast with Anji Bee and sometime collaborators with both Lovespirals and Anji Bee — have just dropped a new album called Love and Fate. Excitingly, Anji collaborated on a duet with band founder, B. “Naive” features lyrics penned by Bee, who recorded her vocals in The Chillcuts Studio with Lovespirals partner, Ryan Lum.

In an interview with Below Zero Beats B said:

“When we wrote our last record Eternal we asked Beth and Anji to join us on vocals for the track Love Will Turn Your Head Around and it was so magical, so beautiful, I wanted to recreate that experience even more”

‘Love and Fate‘ was released March 10, 2015 on Sola Musa Music.

Chillcast Video #76: Artemis

Returning to the show today is San Francisco artist, Artemis. She just released an animated video for the dreamy Mijo remix of “Easy.” This lovely video was created by Sara Abtahi, an Iranian artist currently living in Germany. You can download the song “Easy (Mijomix)” or the full Auralei EP from Bandcamp, with their unique “pay what you want” option. Artemis is in the process of completing a new album and participating in the Song-A-Day challenge, posting her work online for your listening pleasure.

This week’s musical guest is Artemis with Divasonic. These two lovely ladies of electronica from San Francisco make their debut to the vidcast with a brand new collaboration. As I promised on the Chillcast #243, I’ve got the premier of their video for “Truth (Divasonic Cotton Candy Original Version)”. This song is from the duo’s brand new single which includes 8 other fantastic mixes by David G. Earl (aka SFLogicNinja), Colfax, Tyler Stone (Sutro), Daniel Durrett, Celeste Lear, Mijo and Chris James.
