I’m pleased to welcome the lovely Samantha James back to Chillcast Video. She last graced the show on Chillcast Video #6 in early 2008! OM Records recently released a video for the title track to her latest album, Subconscious, on Vimeo. Filmed in her hometown of Topanga Canyon, the “Subconscious” video has a cool hippie vibe and Sammy is drop dead gorgeous in it! I’m back in town and I’ve got a full hour of brand new tunes for ya. Lots of good albums and singles have been coming out lately with lots of great remixes from those releases, and many of them are free downloads — bonus! Today’s set starts out with a kind of indie rock and soul vibe, then switches into the more traditionally electronic fare of the show, and ends off with some real booty shakers.
