Chillcast Karmacoda Interview Feature
This week I present my second artist feature with San Francisco band, Karmacoda. This time around we actually met up in Chillcast studio to chat live and in-person about their 4th album, Eternal, released last month. We had a really great time, which I think you’ll be able to hear in our conversation. Since we already got into the band’s history and past releases in my 2007 Chillcast Karmacoda artist feature, this time we focused solely on their new material. Dave’s Lounge Chillcast Sneak Attack
I just put together special half hour “Chillcast Sneak Attack” episode of the popular weekly downtempo podcast, Dave’s Lounge. I thought it would be fun to surprise the very busy Dave this week with a few underground hits from some of the music sites we used to haunt back in the infancy of the online music community. This 6 song episode includes tracks by Captain Ginger, Elekoustic, EchoVent, Misnomer, Sudaka, and Bitstream Dream.
This is the 2nd time I have guest hosted the show. My first time was back in 2006 for Dave’s Lounge #46. In return, Dave guest hosted Chillcast #13.

The Chillcast Joins Cupid’s Hunt Project
After reading about it on the Friday Favecast blog today, I decided to join in the fun on the Cupid’s Hunt Project, since it just seems so obvious that The Chillcast should do a Valentine’s Day Special. I know I should probably be putting together a big 100th Episode for next Sunday, but since I’ve actually produced 129 episodes to date according to my PodShow stats, it doesn’t feel like the big milestone the number implies… Plus I just celebrated by 2 Year Anniversary of The Chillcast! At any rate, I’m having fun putting together a one hour playlist of songs about L-O-V-E for this Thursday, so stayed tuned to check it out on the big day, baby!
