I’m still super hooked on spacey ambient-edged chillstep, lovestep — whatever you want to call it — and this episode is filled with some great new finds in that genre base. I’m finding more producers introducing some of the hallmarks of this sound into their repertoire, which has resulted in some very interesting genre cross pollination. Today’s musical guest is one of my faves, Ernesto! Ernesto is the pseudonym of Swedish vocalist and producer, Jonatan Bäckelie. He recently announced that he’ll begin releasing music under his given name later this year, and you’re sure to hear that on the Chillcast audio show.
