Been busy producing the Karmacoda feature for next week, but I still managed to put together a pretty awesome show this week, if I do say so myself! We’ve got some nice vocal pieces and a supercatchy instrumental, and conclude it with a rather rowdy number that’ll get your blood pumping. Watch for another epsiode of Lovely Ladies, coming soon! I announced this as an “extremely international mix” but just realized it’s truly a great European mix of upbeat tunes. England, Austria, Germany, Poland, and Sweden are all representing! This episode also boasts an even mix of male and female vocals. Oh, and just as I predicted, Karmacoda got their interview answers back to me tonight! Man, that Twitter is addictive…
What a week! I got completely slammed by taxes, my new show was delayed, my Internet connection was down for a whole day, and I’m totally exhausted. I really need some downtime of my own! Thank God for the music of The Chillcast, lemme tell ya… Every artist is new to the show today, forgot to mention that ’til now.
This week I finally announce the winners of the Paul & Price CD giveaway contest – woo hoo! Plus I announce my new PodShow podcast — ooh ahhh… I also share my recent collaboration with Moosefrog, and play a bunch of cool songs with a slight Worldbeat and Hip Hop bent. Good times!
You could say that this week’s Chillcast is extra-chill. I bring you a melancholy set of dreamy downbeat tunes punctuated by the uplifting new single by San Francisco band, Karmacoda, who will be the subject of my next special band feature. Watch for that in March!
