Anji Bee Hosts Mothpod #105

Zack “The Mothman” Daggy is on a much needed vacation from podcasting this month and asked me to step in as a guest host for his weekly music show, The Mothpod. Will just sent me a copy of his brand new Dive Index CD, Collisions: the Mid/Air Remixes, which is due out officially on Sept 26th. On this week’s Chillcast #127, I played a remix of “Water In Our Hands” featuring the lovely Natalie Walker on vocals. Then I discovered that this CD also contains 2 videos, one of which is for the original version of “Water in our Hands.” The video and animation are by Divya Srinivasan, an amazing Austin artist who worked on one of my all time favorite movies, Waking Life by Richard Linklater, so I had to share this video with you! Hope ya dig it.

Home from the New Media Expo in Vegas

I am back, safe and sound, from my roadtrip to Vegas for the New Media Expo. It was great to see CC and some of the folks I’d met at expos past and some that hadn’t been to the expo yet, like Cybster DJ, Dave of Dave’s Lounge and Ariel of Cyber PR. Ryan and I will be sure to do a new episode of Chillin’ with Lovespirals soon so we can share some tales of our trip!

Anji To Attend 2008 New Media Expo in Las Vegas

After a bit of debate, I decided to take the plunge and made last minute plans to go to Vegas this weekend for the 2008 New Media Expo (formerly the Portable Media Expo). This year there aren’t any podcast awards, Mevio (formerly PodShow) will not be hosting an “UnExpo” and most of my new media friends won’t be going, but Ryan and I will be in the hizzle, as it were, with no solid plans whatsoever. Look for us on the floor Saturday, wandering around and wondering what the heck is going on after 1:30 when the whole thing shuts down.
