A little birdy told me PodShow may be experiencing some downtime next week, and I wanted to make sure you all heard this Exceptional Records spotlight, so I put it up a bit early. All of the artists this episode are playing the Exceptional Night Out gig in London Tuesday the 18th. Wish I could be there… All these tunes were found on the IODA Promonet site. Thanks to Exceptional for going podsafe!
Last week my show didn’t upload and I gave up on it. This week I’m doing a shorter one just to test out what the heck is going on. But it still has content… I briefly talk about my discomfort with getting personal on ShowGirls, going to the Diggnation taping, and working on Lovespirals‘ new CD, amongst other things. Check it out, let me know if it plays on your iPod or AppleTV, OK?
The Diggnation taping at Cinespace yesterday was pretty fun. Got there promptly at 6 but of course there was already a line around the building. This was the first live taping in the LA area so people came from all over. I was chatting with a gal from the female Diggnation fans group when I noticed Kevin crossing the street and realized what a fan girl I was! By the time Ryan and I got upstairs the seats were all taken, but the show was so funny that I didn’t really notice standing up for an hour. The dudes are total rockstars now, no doubt. Speaking of which, the French Maid TV chicks were there, doing their shtick and bringing Kevin beer every few minutes. He’s so cute when he gets wasted…
I’m gonna try to attend the Diggnation live taping at Cinespace tomorrow evening. Hopefully it won’t be a complete mob scene and I can actually get in. Going out to LA is always a hassle but I love Diggnation and haven’t been to any of their events yet. Plus I haven’t seen that cutie Kevin since he was with G4 and that’s far too long in my book. Ryan dared me to run up and kiss Kevin while they’re filming!
This week’s episode is a half-hour feature on Podsafe Music Network artist, Matthew Ebel. Not only is Matthew an exceptional independent singer/songwriter, but a charismatic podcaster, and a riveting performer in Second Life. We’ll learn more about his career experiences as we preview some of his more chilled tunes on this special artist spotlight for Unwind.

This week’s show is comprised mainly of songs sent in to me from artists that listen to The Chillcast. Very cool! The overall vibe is very classic old school Chillcast, I think. Put this up early for your Easter chillin’ enjoyment!
After another extended hiatus, the girls are back and more personal than before… Most of us are now Twitter converts, we’re all searching for a balance between podcasting and personal lives, we disagree on whether or not you can be friends with exes, some of us have overly-amorous fans, we’re all wondering what’s up with American Idol, plus we share the latest news from KFC of PodChick podcast, SoccerGirl, Karla and Karen from Rumor Girls, and me — Anji Bee!
Yet another lovely mix of relaxing Podsafe Music Network artists guaranteed to cure you of all your ails. Just lay back, close your eyes, and prepare to unwind…
This is the most deluxe Chillcast feature yet! Enjoy a full hour of music from all four Karmacoda albums as I chat with band vocalists, Brett Crockett and Heather Pierce, about their history, creative process, career highlights, and much more. Plus Karmacoda are holding an extra special contest — 10 Chillcast listeners will win! San Fran fans: be sure to check out Karmacoda’s Illuminate Release Party gig on April 7th at 330 Ritch.
